I was the victim of an attempted kidnapping

Updated: Feb 3

Today, I want to share with you a pivotal moment in my life—a moment that tested my faith and reshaped my journey forever.

It was a bright December day when I became the victim of a kidnapping. In an instant, fear gripped my heart, but through God's grace and my own determination, I fought back and survived. The aftermath was overwhelming; my name and story spread through the media, and suddenly, I was thrust into the spotlight.

The public knew me as the "Kroger Lady," a label that didn't capture the depth of my experience or the strength it took to overcome. The misconceptions and judgments were daunting, and I retreated into solitude to heal and rediscover myself.

During those years in hiding, I leaned on my faith like never before. I realized that my identity was not defined by a single event but by the courage and resilience I exhibited every day. With God's guidance, I found the strength to reclaim my voice and embrace my purpose—to inspire others through my journey of redemption.

Today, as I share this story with you, I stand as a testament to the power of faith and the resilience of the human spirit. My past does not define me; it empowers me to live boldly and authentically. Thank you for joining me on this journey of healing, hope, and unwavering faith.

Together, we can celebrate the triumph of the human spirit and the beauty of God's grace in our lives.
